How It Started
Original Western was born from a deep respect for the West and the way of life it represents. Not as a trend, but as something lived, observed and understood over time. The idea came from seeing how Western culture values durability, honesty and purpose not excess or shortcuts. We wanted to build a brand that reflected those values clearly and consistently, creating something original that feels grounded and enduring. The brand was founded in 2023 by Olena Kolesnykova, a Woman who envisioned a brand that mirrored the Western values of durability, honesty, and purpose. We saw a gap in the market for goods that avoided shortcuts and excess, and we set out to build something original that feels grounded and enduring.
Today, Original Western LLC operates out of our headquarters in South Gate, California. Being based in the heart of the West allows us to remain closely connected to the culture and craftsmanship that inspired our beginning. From our California office, we manage every aspect of our curated shopping experience to ensure our values are reflected clearly and consistently in every product we ship.
